Cycle Tour of Britain visits scenic Yorkshire September 5, 2024
The 94-mile Stage Two of the tour started in Darlington on Wednesday September 4 but within a few miles entered Yorkshire at Yarm to continue through the Cleveland Hills into the
Stage three of the tour started at Arundel Gate, Sheffield, on Thursday September 5 and covered over 103 miles as it headed from Sheffield via Rotherham and Doncaster to finish at County Way in Barnsley . The race included King of the Mountains climbs at Loxley and Oughtibridge near the start and at Hound Hill, near Worsbrough , not far from the finish in Barnsley.
